I fully agree with Soto.

Verdone has made many memorable films, but as I have often had the opportunity to say, it’s not true, in my opinion, that his best work was only at the beginning: he truly reaches his maturity with the trio Compagni di Scuola-Maledetto il giorno che t'ho incontrato-Al lupo al lupo, exemplary films of comedy, often bitter and, above all, adult. Without taking anything away from this, from the subsequent ones, from Borotalco, and Acqua e Sapone (just to mention the ones already cited in the review) and the many other excellent/great/good films he has made.

What can I say, it's a pleasure to see you again. Hello Count.

mmm but beyond opinions, it's precisely the way you (don't) describe the album that "confines the review in that aura of mediocritas." I actually liked the album (strangely, since I've never particularly cared for it).

I was a little intrigued. I liked the remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (of course, without making comparisons to the original milestone). The prequel "The Beginning" was terrible, truly unbearable. The other one they made a few years ago was decent (with Leatherface locked in a basement, I don’t remember what it was called). If I get the chance, I'll watch it anyway. Good review.

Often said, one of his best for me too, along with the three from the '60s and the one from the '90s. Very good reception despite the track by track.

Sorry, but what the hell do the ones have to do with the review?

I’ve been listening to it a lot these days, for me it’s a 5 out of 5, personally it’s among my favorite albums by The Smashing Pumpkins alongside Siamese Dream, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness (and even Adore, which I had underestimated). Top-notch songwriting and a great sound, it’s a shame for those who won’t even try to give it a listen, because it truly deserves it.

@[Barkridge] and generally for new users regarding newly released albums that have already been reviewed multiple times within just a few days: I have seen things about Deb that you new users could never even imagine...
