Review to grade the album. In 2018, an artist still relatively unknown released a psychedelic instrumental album (I mean, how many instrumental albums have come out in the last, I donā€™t know, 20 years? Pink Floyd, after 50 years of career and outrageous success) of this level, itā€™s truly deserving of recognition. It not only shows courage and (wonderful) artistic recklessness but also a clear stance in his artistic journey, without any compromises. And then there's the evolution that, in just 3 albums, has already brought him to this point. An artist absolutely worth following.

I completely disagree with the assessment of the previous "Hypnophobia," which, in my opinion, is a huge step forward compared to the debut from 2013: the debut was very nice but really too tied to '60s folk/psychedelia. With Hypnophobia, it gains a well-defined personality. In short, I find that "With the subsequent 'Hypnophobia' it continued in that vein, but without the element of surpriseā€ to be a profoundly wrong evaluation. This (thanks to @[ALFAMA] because I didn't even know it had been released and I was waiting for it), I haven't listened to enough yet to give a full evaluation, but I've already included it among my favorites of 2018: an incredibly interesting evolution (rather "extreme" and courageous, therefore to be rewarded without a shadow of a doubt).

Eh, what a shame they couldnā€™t complete the "Celebration of the Lizard" (which I recovered in a couple of live versions and I think even one studio version later on); the album would have been definitely better. I was listening to Kyuss this morning and thought that even a voice like Jim Morrisonā€™s would have been perfect. Hi there, Conte, good to see you again!

Beautiful, innovative, and experimental the idea. As a story in itself, it didn't blow me away (I mean, practically all the previous episodes, or almost, are superior, but then again, Black Mirror has an incredibly high average level; I don't think it's easy to always meet its standards). A solid 3 works anyway.

Indeed, I had already read a lot of good things about them; I know a little about them and at this point I may eventually get this. The albums I would cite as "conclusive" for that period of English rock are three: "This Is Hardcore," "Ok Computer," and of course "Blur," precisely for the "shift" they represented musically. "Be Here Now" operates on the same coordinates as their previous (and subsequent) works.
