"Butterflies Drink Turtle Tears"
What do we know about the '90s, we who were barely one year old at that time.
During our puberty, we were fascinated by the stories of the coolest and/or hippiest folks in the village who, in retrospect, didn't know much either, buried under avalanches of trash TV, and thank heavens, now there's the internet. Yes, thank you!
Noisette.
I have this word in mind, and it's the word that best expresses the group I will (very briefly) talk about:
The Human People are an all-female band that navigates between noise-pop and alternative-rock with that emotional drop that never hurts.
Imagine Sleater-Kinney less agitated, Breeders less explosive but there's so much of that noise-pop from Tiger Trap and Julie Doiron from the Eric's Trip days.
A little sweetness, every now and then. Every now and then!
