I don't really like U2, but this is a great album, not a masterpiece, but a fantastic record, with beautiful atmospheres, great tracks, an opening and a closing that gives you chills, and the overall message of the album is well represented by the beautiful title.

I really like the reviews set up this way, great job dark, then you pulled out 3 discs as references, trust us is my favorite by motorpsycho, daydream nation is my favorite by sonic youth, and mellon collie is my favorite by smashing pumpkins.

between loveless and psychocandy..slurp:D the review kettelodicoaffà dark, you bring out one more beautiful and interesting than the other, I just want to share what came to my mind right away when I read "in pure loveless style, it's sex inside a blender" which could also have fit well as an alternate title for this milestone, a single piece, a single hit that changed history
Voto:
Yes, it would be a step below Loveless, but they are My Bloody Valentine, and the album, as you rightly say, has within it the various elements of their sound, not blended into a single sonic magma like Loveless and therefore not giving that unrepeatable effect that the latter provides, even if some tracks come close.

I got the remastered version with live tracks some time ago when it was on sale, and it’s really worth it. The album? I read somewhere that it was described as "mantric psychedelic metal."

The review is good, you've made an interesting reflection anyway, beyond what you think of this group, which for me is currently a big question mark. In any case, I respect their search for other paths; if they had continued to churn out albums like the first three, we would now be complaining about that.
