great movie, a review that tells a lot and analyzes little, then you tell the ending in a banal way, by the way the film is not the "Somewhat stereotypical story of a champion at sunset who rebels against the relentless passage of time redeeming himself in one last great performance" there is no redemption here, there is the awareness that you cannot escape yourself, quite the opposite of stereotypical in my opinion

it could have been a great movie, the idea is nice, the way of realizing it is evocative and captivating, the ending is a colossal mess and trivializes all the beauty that came before, and oh well
