In any case, better anyway Anna Pannocchia, "il tuo cuore a spatola" is an album that rarely gets mentioned, unfortunately.

“As soon as you’re born, they make you feel small by taking away all the time you could have until your pain becomes so great that you no longer feel anything. They hurt you at home, hit you at school, hate you if you’re smart, and despise you if you’re stupid. This drives you completely crazy, and you can't follow their rules. After terrorizing you for twenty absurd years, they expect you to choose a career when in reality you’re so full of fear that you can't get started. They drug you with religion, sex, and television, and you think you’re clever, unbiased, free, while you remain an idiot who understands nothing, as I see it… and they keep telling you – there’s room at the top – but you have to learn to kill with a smile if you want to compete with the people at the top” (Working Class Hero) As far as I’m concerned, the most beautiful song ever written by Lennon.

Well, this album really grabbed me; I listened to it one summer, I don't know, quite a few years ago. It's from 2001, I think. This and Hullabaloo remain their peak for me, even though I also like Black Holes and The Resistance. Absolution was kind of a letdown in the end; the last one is quite bad instead, where they tried to show a versatility they don’t have, going in various directions without actually getting anywhere.

Oh my God, I listened to the single and I couldn't believe my ears, predictable and trivial but at terrifying levels.
