I had only listened to lunacy when this great album came out, and even that track struck me a lot, but I postponed listening to the album, which is truly wonderful, from the first to the last track.

As I wrote today in the definition, I have never been excited about Wilson as a solo artist; I couldn't even manage to listen to it all, this album bored me so much. Yet I really liked the title track of the following one (and also the related video), I found it evocative and moving; maybe I'll give it another try.

From this album, they start to intrigue me; with the subsequent Lightbulb Sun and the masterpiece In Absentia, they deliver a remarkable triple play. Then comes the mediocre, disappointing Deadwing, followed by a strong comeback with Fear of a Blank Planet and Nil Recurring.

I have always loved this film, ever since I first saw it as a child, and I still do. Deep and full of meaning, it's my favorite among "fantasy" films (even though the term somewhat limits this movie).

Salvatores is one of the Italian directors I appreciate the most, versatile and often very inspired. I had already heard bad things about this film, indeed, but if you compare it to Nirvana I have some doubts, because that one, although it was far from being a masterpiece, was very interesting from various points of view (a 3/4 balls rating would have been appropriate, in short).
