Lucio Battisti Hegel

Battisti is great...too ahead, too much!!! Maybe we will get to listen to music like that, but only in 40 years or if another Battisti were to be born...oops, that's impossible...

In your opinion, in the first track when the phrase "that they want to cover it in chocolate" appears, what does it refer to...? I think that in what it will do again, there is a murder…the key phrase for me is: He folded, refolded, and put away the sweater; there is a deception. It hides the traces of the murder. And he stops in the night to wonder what he will do again…he doesn’t know if more or less…

But has any of you, instead of talking and criticizing and blah blah blah, tried to listen to these records more than once??????? Does the term "returns" mean anything to you? It could be evening for your minds!!! Here we are in front of works labeled in a thousand different ways!! Yet contemporary artists don’t need to be asked twice to draw inspiration from these gems. Loving is this: excluding and the only ones in the world, the only ones to be alone in loving and exterminating the invincible army!!! Coming back to tell the fury of the frost and the dawn nights!! I really don’t understand you. How can you not understand?

With this review, you have belittled this masterpiece; it is hard to find an established artist making such bold choices, I mean going against the GRAIN of the MASSES!! It’s true, it’s difficult to go back to the classic pop song after listening to this album several times.
Lucio Battisti Don Giovanni
Voto:
Don Giovanni is a wonderful album, the music is sublime and the lyrics evoke imagination in the same way that Battisti's music does. These lyrics are hermetic, but with each listen you discover something new, something you hadn't sensed or that had slipped past you in the previous listening. I believe that Don Giovanni and the subsequent "quattro bianchi" are masterpieces, undiscovered pearls that have never been explored deeply. We must rediscover this heritage and give the right importance to these albums. I have no preference for Lucio Battisti with Mogol or with Panella; I simply prefer Battisti. I appreciate all of his choices and all of his music as if it were all the same. However, I do not agree with those who think that the golden period of this artist ends in '80 with the album "Una giornata uggiosa"; it’s not like that. And I also disagree with those who say that Hegel did not succeed as much; this is Battisti, his task is to always amaze us, and even though he is no longer with us, he has left us a legacy of many songs that still provoke discussion. Great artists spark debate and conversation about themselves, and he is one of them. Don Giovanni, Il mio canto libero, L'apparenza, Il nostro caro angelo, etc., are all by Battisti and they are all great works. The important thing is to love the author, that is, him. My name is Manuel and I am a very passionate fan of Lucio.
