In any case, beautiful review; the Russian league currently ranks sixth in the UEFA ranking (the Ukrainian one is seventh) behind only La Liga, Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1; recently it has secured several international titles (CSKA Moscow - UEFA 2005, Zenit St. Petersburg UEFA 2008 + Supercup Shakhtar Donetsk UEFA 2009) and yet the overwhelming majority of journalists and sports pundits are desperate to portray Rubin Kazan as a terrible team, only to then attack Inter shamelessly in the event of a loss. This is really disgusting. Speaking of post-Soviet football, one wonders if by 2050 we will have at least one stadium in Italy that can compare with the Donbass Arena in Donetsk…
