I respond to comment 46: One Vision is one of the most cloying and Veltronian pieces I have ever heard. Rock is something else. In comment 43, Donnie Darko was mocked for his admiration of U2. I love them to pieces. So what?

Dear Spirit, for me "Gimme the Prize" is more pop than "Obladì-obladà".

A review that basically says everything and nothing: you could have done more. The album hasn't grabbed me yet. For now, it's a two for both.

Great album. I didn't like the review.
The Doors Strange Days

I knew that by reviewing the Doors, I would be digging my own grave... I share some criticisms, but I regret that it has come across as if I intended to portray a stereotyped Morrison. I know Jim's life and how much has been said, and especially "badmouthed," about him and the Doors (one example above all is Stone's film). As for the other three, I preferred not to write about them simply because the review aimed to be concise and effective, avoiding too much elaboration and potentially slipping into tedious clichés.

In every sense: was it really necessary?

Perfect review, maybe even too much, well done! I'm digesting the album slowly and so I won't judge it just yet.

Thank you, Fosca! I was there that day too, and that wheat field we did was something inhumane! Wonderful!

I like this album. But guys, U2 are (were) on another level. Ah, in October, for those interested, the remaster of "The Unforgettable Fire" is coming out.
