Hi guys, why ruin such a beautiful page - which surely took effort to write - with these sterile political discussions? Let's shift the dialogue to the review of "Il divo," it seems more relevant. SV, Il_Paolo

Poletti, I’m serious and not trying to upset anyone. Come on, don’t put all the blame on "grandpa Giulio"; remember that the blame - if there is any - lies with those who voted for him for decades and today vote for his heirs: it saddens me to think that many of them are in the camp that I also vote for, that is, yours. However, if you are on the left, I must reach the inescapable logical conclusion - even before a political one - that I am on the right. But since this is impossible, I deduce that you are on the right (and the assertive nature of your speeches, as well as the rudeness of your tone and your wishes, makes me believe that you are a bit like Sgarbi or Ferrara). Nevertheless, I wish you well in a Gandhian way. Yours, Il_Paolo

@Spacca, I never said that from a descriptive rule (the tangent system exists) one should derive a normative or prescriptive rule (the tangent system is good and should be maintained) because otherwise I would fall into the well-known Humean fallacy. However, you know that I have a sociological eye and I see my country for what it is, and not for what I would like it to be, and probably never will be.

@Spacca: offensive yes, illegal is to be seen, as the criminal code provides for the justification of exercising rights, with the constitutional addendum of freedom of thought. That is to say, our system is so democratic that it tolerates being offended! @Larrok: Bossi is not incapable; he invented a party and a full-time job from scratch, neither you nor I would have managed it. Perhaps dishonest, but the party's rationale, in those years, imposed the bribe system as it was functional to the existence of the parties themselves. You offend me if you mistake me for a "provocateur." ST, Il_Paolo

And now the cahiers de doléances hit Bossi and Calderoli too: just because they are assisted in their respective ministries by brilliant intellectuals from all backgrounds, it doesn’t mean they are incapable, even if their language is colorful. I know plenty of southerners perfectly integrated in the north - to the point of having assimilated local dialects and idioms - who voted en masse for the League, a movement that cannot be dismissed lightly. "Let’s not be so serious," said by someone who insults my little writings on lesser-known cinema. Pol, you know I care about you, but just relax a little. Did you see the scene from "Tassinaro" that I attached in the post above? Do you think someone like Sordi, a great critic of Italian customs, expresses his respect for Andreotti as you see in that film? If even Albertone - a well-known DC voter - respected Grandpa Giulio, there must be a reason. If you listen to the interview, you'll see how Andreotti himself cared about the fate of young people. And for a fake, Nazism is uncomfortable... Apart from the fact that I am real, I exist in flesh and blood and I am not a fake, it's not pleasant to be wished the worst by Poletti, confusing a mere polemic with a paradox that carries with it a tragedy: not that Poletti responds to my observations, he merely exacerbates the tones and that's it. Allow me to vent and say that Poletti, no offense intended, reminds me of certain petty fascists from the suburbs. Poletti: I challenge you to a duel at the first highway rest stop outside of Milan: let's see who can drink more "Pepsi Boom" without exploding. SV, Il_Paolo

Making jokes about more than six million deaths shows the moral compass of the jokester. Congratulations (and this is not the first time Poletti has done it).

Peter, if you go to the debate under "Vacanze in America" by the Vanzina - my most read review!!!! - you will find a concise summary of the issue: il_Paolo and fake de Il_Paolo. The problem probably arises from the fact that no one accepts that I am real, and also that I am appreciated by two of the site's top reviewers, namely Lavalin and laRock.

Poletti, your attack is verbally outrageous, perhaps it stems from excessive emotion: first of all, I have never been to Sardinia; I usually spend my holidays in Viserbella, sometimes venturing as far as Gabicce Mare. Secondly, the books I read are not out of touch with the world; you can find them in all the bookstores in Italy. Thirdly, I don’t understand what Andreotti has to do with all this: for almost twenty years he has had no operational roles; in the '90s he stubbornly defended himself in trials (and not from them) while respecting the judges. As for his past connections with the mafia, I don’t know… certainly, we should understand the why and how (I don’t believe he had personal interests; in my opinion, he acted, to concede everything, for "the reason of State"). Then, I don’t understand your obsession with the Nazis: read H. Arendt’s "The Banality of Evil" and let me know. Yours, Il_Paolo
