@Muffin, you’ve been dead for almost ten years and you haven’t noticed!!! Chilling. @Ole: avoid such behaviors, they make you ugly. Instead, make yourself a nice sandwich with Nutella and tidy up your room, and line up the ski boots in the garage shelf. I missed you all so much this summer: I thought about you a lot in Porto Cervo. I hope not to disappoint you with the upcoming reviews (not long now - alas - until the end of this prolonged vacation). Now I have to go because I have an appointment. SV, Il_Paolo

You force me to leave the deck chair with a view of Mont Blanc for various corrections. So: Birba knows how to defend herself, so I won't waste time explaining how her review, made with apparent simplicity, has its "ontic" value because it tells us what the world is like now. You – summer hasn't brought you wisdom, especially my friend Ole Einar to whom I still reiterate my esteem and affection – always start from a "deontic" logic, where everything that is not as you'd like, that is different from you, and perhaps worse than you, like this film, must be erased. And I don't think that's fair; we must learn to accept this too. As for "Moccia new Moravia," it’s important that I explain: there is, first of all, a proportional relationship, in the sense that they should be compared to their times, to their eras. The 2000s seem less interesting than the 20th century for now, so, in a small way, Moccia is the new Moravia. Yet: in Moccia, but also in Brizzi (director), there is this description of feelings, of relationships, which certainly rests on clichés (the ugly girl becoming beautiful is Cinderella stuff), but it also tells us a lot about the fogs, the mists, the existential uncertainties of today's youth, this apparent aimlessness of theirs. Almost, and here I come to Moravia, it describes the "boredom" of existence, and also the "mutual indifference" between individuals. Perhaps this is unconscious, but artistic creation, in my opinion, doesn’t have to be necessarily conscious; there is always this reciprocal exchange between author and audience, who sometimes end up identifying with each other and discovering themselves, in fact, as one single thing. More or less. SV, Il_Paolo

Hello to all the commentators. Please don’t touch CiaksiBirba, one of the few people here who has the courage to go against the tide. Birba, thank you for working for me and my mission, during a well-deserved vacation for me: to the others, a promise that is also a debt. I will be back! Moccia is the Moravia of the 2000s, no doubt about it.

Gustavo, the 5th is the result of the feelings I have for Birbabirba. If I remember correctly, you're the son of the actress from Gianburrasca: please say hi to your mom for me, and I would be happy if you told her about my review. With affection, to you and your mom. Yours, Il_Paolo

You will always be great, I appreciate you. It takes a bit of courage in life, like the protagonists in this film, because love, when it comes, comes. Too bad there are those who don’t believe it, and who don’t think that reality, sometimes, could be even better than a movie. Lovingly Yours, Il_Paolo

She is undoubtedly very talented; I have Baudizm and Mama's Gun, even though sometimes she overdoes it with shrill notes and overly sweet meowing. But what lovely hair (seriously)!

Interesting the soccer post above (let's be honest, they're pretty much washed up): I’ll draw a charitable veil over Moratti's moralizing and the pseudo superiority of Inter, also considering the blatant conflict of interest between the then extraordinary commissioner Rossi and the Nerazzurri club. The story of Calciopoli needs to be rewritten; I believe Juventus could have deserved the B league, but not alone (Milan, Lazio, and Fiorentina should have gone down too, given the objective responsibility), or, according to a more just solution, the A league with penalties. After winning the World Cup, a kind of amnesty could have been considered, after all. By sending Juventus down to B, they practically ruined the celebration for half of Italy, which didn't fully enjoy the World Cup (remind me how many Juventus players, and former coaches, were in the final, and also with which two players -- one Swedish-Slavic and the other Franco-Senegalese -- Inter built the core of the victorious team). Such is life. SV, IL_Paolo

Great choice, the album, and the single Rapput in particular, were one of the big hits of the scorching summer of '91, which I would also remember for the coup in Moscow. Here in Italy, we were basically living the last season of the '80s, characterized by a certain hedonism: from February '92, Mani Pulite would begin. Rapput has a chauvinistic text, but it's also amusing in its rap flow; I don't know the rest of the album. Back then, I remembered Bisio as the star of the "Megu Megun" video by de André, imagine that. You stole a review from me, just so you know!

But doesn't the cover remind you of anything??? Flotsam & Jetsam were better, at least they were "minor".

Laudable this initiative, well done, everyone has their own "mission." Caparezza started off well, when he went by the name Micky Mix and participated in Sanremo, then he got a bit too full of himself (literally, I don’t know how he manages to have all that hair) playing the maitre à penser of orecchiette and cime di rapa. Nice at first, as an idea (like: La mia parte intollerante), but, over time, it can get tiring, in proportion to how seriously he takes himself. It must be said, however, that in a recent video there was Al Bano, so he isn’t taking himself too seriously after all. Contradictorily Yours, Il_Paolo
