TEMPLARE, you haven't exaggerated; I completely agree, the album in question deserves it.

great album, not the best, dear JUDGE, LUTTAZZI quoted that phrase, it’s not his (he just put in the names), then what to say, ROMA needs to make 2 good signings to be competitive, JUVE has strengthened but needs to get someone who dictates the pace, Milan doesn’t have a true striker except for Borriello, Inzaghi plays 10 matches a year, Pato isn’t a center forward, Inter needs a midfield of Vieira, Stankovic, Figo, Pelé, but where are they going unless the referees... Milan favored anyway, "la fabbrica di plastica" is a great album musically, then on the usual discussions about Vasco I don’t want to get into it, the same things are always said.
Pino Daniele Vai Mo' Live @ Piazza del Plebescito - Napoli 08.07.08

Seen on TV, Gigi D'Alessio shouldn't have been booed. He was invited and accepted the invitation. Annoying was Carlucci, who read a message from Berlusconi and every 5 minutes reminded everyone that the concert was an initiative of Prestigiacomo. And Pino, what the hell are you doing? All these duets and then he didn't perform the best songs: "na tazzulella e cafè," "che CAlore," "nun me scuccià," "putesse essere allero."

I place this album among those that can be listened to; certainly, Daniele's earlier records were something else, even if the good Pino didn’t invent anything—just listen to Weather Report to believe it.

a great show, as Allen says "a concert by the boss is one of the reasons to live" it's exaggerated, of course, but it captures the idea well.

Dear MOCAMPO, that's exactly how it is, and I’ll tell you that De André said about Vasco that "he's the only one in Italy making rock and remaining credible." He opened the tribute concert for De André at the request of Dori Ghezzi, and when Vasco was arrested, the only artist who personally went to visit him was De André, who was an admirer of ours. This doesn’t mean that anyone who listens to De André has to listen to Vasco, and it doesn’t mean that De André was right (for me, he was), but don’t say it’s nonsense if you’re not informed. MARPARDO, I respect your opinions; I just want to say that I’m not part of the crowd that takes everything Vasco says as gospel, but the songs I mentioned are beautiful and convey something. "C'è chi dice no" is a piece against the society of that moment: "I’m not there, I’m a man." I recommend you listen to "vivere una favola," "dillo alla luna," and "ogni volta." I don’t want to repeat myself, but I won’t cite "come stai," "ti prendo e ti porto via," or "rewind." As for "gioca con me," no one is talking about art or masterpieces, but it’s not a steaming pile of dung; there’s SLASH on guitar, and indeed, the sound is that of the Velvet Revolver. Or is even Slash not good enough? The forward hip movement is part of the rock language (even if for you Vasco doesn’t do rock, for me Vasco makes beautiful Italian rock). Elvis did it half a century ago, Jagger has made excessive use of sexual innuendos, and I’m not comparing Vasco to anyone, to be clear. Anyway, I maintain this opinion (De André's, to be understood), and you have yours. Regards.

Dear Don, you are right, Vasco's strength is exactly there; he unites and sings sensations that everyone experiences at least once in their life, but our friend has also written different things: "non appari mai," "gli spari sopra," "mi si escludeva," "stupendo," "c'è chi dice no" — these are "political" pieces. You talked about De André; well, Faber considered Vasco his moral heir, and it’s no coincidence that Vasco opened the tribute concert to De André with a magnificent version of "amico fragile."
