I didn't know Nick Cave very well, but for a few years now I've been playing in a band that covers him (from this album at least four songs, including "The Mercy Seat") and I've started to appreciate him a lot. I agree with what the review says.

I save the sounds that are precisely from that time and (alas) they bring me nice memories.. But the compositions really leave much to be desired in terms of originality. I would describe them as simple yet arranged in great confusion, and the result is sometimes embarrassing.

So: for those who have followed Le Orme since "Collage," this is definitely one of their worst albums. If we want to talk about little songs, even a piece like "Amico di ieri" wasn't bad...
