Tangerine Dream Encore - Live
Voto:
I, I repeat, loved them up to Phaedra. After that, I didn't follow them with the same interest, nor have I ever listened to one of their live performances. Well, we'll see..................

Well done!!! I've never heard this album. I’ll have to check it out. I put them aside quite a few years ago.

Why, is there anyone who doesn't have Stormcock? Jokes aside, I don't know this album. 5 out of trust?

Your review is good, at least for me. The album? Well, I love all of them up until Phaedra. Bye.

Sorry for my frankness, but, for us KC lovers, you could have given a bit more information. Anyway (I admit my ignorance), I wasn't aware of this album (with the awful cover). I'll look into it. Thanks. Bye.
Genesis Wind & Wuthering

@Hetzer: indeed, Rutherford whined for years about the loss of Philips. When he had some free time, he would get together with Anthony to play and compose something. Rutherford and Banks were closer than ever. Perhaps, here in Italy, we have idealized Gabriel's figure too much. I, for one.
Genesis Wind & Wuthering

Well, I've read from various sources that Tony and Mike ruled the roost. Over time, Collins got closer and closer to these two, marginalizing Peter and Steve. Tony could hardly tolerate Peter's way of working. Too cerebral, too much time wasted writing lyrics that lengthened the recording process. Peter composed very few musical parts. Steve wanted to collaborate more, but for various reasons, he ended up sidelining himself. It's well known that Banks was a dictator within the band. Great talent but also great sensitivity.

Apart from Tubular Bells, I am also very fond of Hergest Ridge. The album you reviewed I rate a 3.5. Bye.
Genesis Wind & Wuthering

I agree that the rating is 4.5. My favorite from the Gabriel era is Foxtrot. During the "4" period, Wind and Wuthering is definitely the best. Hackett did the right thing by leaving. Banks was as annoying as ever, even more so, and Collins was starting to get too full of himself. In fact, Collins even blamed Hackett's wife for having influenced him. What a friend.
