Among the records I bought this year, TND is definitely one of my favorites. Defining it as the most important of 2013... mmmm... I'm not so sure. I would tread carefully. Good album. Good return of the Duke. Some very beautiful sounds (Scary Monsters?) alternating with other predictable ones. As for this extra you mentioned, I really don't think I'll buy it. By now, I only listen to vinyl, so...

Well....... I acknowledge that. Although I've never followed Vecchioni closely. And the little I listened to (mostly from the '70s) I didn't like very much. Camerini, Finardi, Dalla, Graziani.....well, during those years I was more inclined to listen to these singer-songwriters.

I saw him on the "SO" tour at the Verona arena, September 1987. Fantastic. However, even though I loved him madly - and I still do, of course - Us, Ovo, Up, and Scratch... have never really driven me crazy. I believe the first four works + Passion are his true creative peak. I guess that, anyway, live Peter always has an extra gear. With infinite envy......................

I really liked D9. This one, however, doesn't convince me much from the trailers. I definitely won't see it in the theater. Anyway, it's becoming rare to see any decent science fiction films. Prometheus, for example, was a scandal. Moon was a little gem. But, tastes are tastes...

Just this morning I had in my hands the vinyl of this latest work by Blackfield. But I had no doubts: I didn't buy it. Because I listened to something in advance and I didn't like anything. I'm not a big fan of B and I find them, bear with me, a bit overrated. I adore Wilson, but not everything he does turns out well. As already highlighted, perhaps he has too many projects underway and too many ideas in mind. So......
