Explain to me why in an apocalyptic situation, with poverty and misery everywhere, people spend the very little money they have on stuff to fill every existing wall with graffiti and cover themselves with tattoos instead of eating.

Explain to me what kind of miraculous technology (and power) a missile launcher must have to launch 3 missiles towards 3 spacecrafts (destroying 2 of them) from Earth without even entering coordinates or anything like that but simply aiming the weapon randomly at the sky.

Explain to me why the ships in space make noise.

Explain to me why the 2 ships mentioned above stayed still with the missile heading towards them while the third escaped the attack by making a very simple maneuver (or at least it should be simple for a pilot sent into space and entrusted with dozens of lives).

Explain to me why the Elysium station doesn't have a cover between the living space and outer space and therefore theoretically doesn’t even have gravity (maybe... I don't know... maybe it spins... maybe) and atmosphere.

Explain to me why surgical operations are performed without anesthesia and sanitary precautions (I understand poverty, but here...)

Explain to me how someone can survive if they insert metal into their spine to install an exoskeleton without anesthesia and hygienic measures.

Explain to me how someone with lethal radiation poisoning manages to kick the ass of anyone in front of them, even with the aforementioned exoskeleton support (but with the lethal radiation poisoning).

Explain to me why the brain of someone who had a grenade explode in their face remained intact.

Explain to me why removing data from a person’s brain doesn’t cause death in the first case (the guy dies because he was shot) in the first case, while in the second the removal of the exact same data does.

Explain to me why the inhabitants of Elysium keep for themselves an unspecified number of hospital shuttles containing many miraculous capsules that simply by having the patient lie inside heal them of any disease, tumor, wound, or fracture when they don't need them because every household has its miraculous capsule.

Finally, explain to me why you wanted to ruin the excellent work done with "District 9" with this stuff.
