@BATPLUTO: well, you’ve removed any doubt for me. Back in the late '80s, I read in a music magazine that Banks messed up the intro to Firth of Fifth a couple of times and, being the nervous character he is, decided to skip that part. Anyway, he's still amazing. In '73 the acoustics were terrible and Peter sometimes struggled a lot to express himself. It happens even to the best. Bye and thanks.

...anyway, I prefer Genesis Live for two reasons: first, because I'm partial to that period. Second, because in '73 I saw them in Reggio Emilia. In fact, I was only able to see and hear two songs quite well. But it was enough!!!!!!

Overall, excellent live performance. Collins sometimes mangles the songs sung by Gabriel, but what can you expect from Collins? Instrumentally flawless. In my opinion, the vocal version of The Carpet.... presented here is horrible!!!! But where has the piano introduction of Firth of Fifth gone?

SUPERSOUL: remarkable, really remarkable. You wrote some information that I didn’t know due to ignorance. But really, Jobson doesn’t play on this record? On my vinyl, he appears in the line-up. Anyway, interesting to know. Bye

Zappa's discography is immense. I have listened to and own about a dozen of his albums. Frankly, I have never heard anything "mediocre." Of course, he made relatively simple records and others, numerous ones, that take time to process. The album you reviewed is a very good piece of work. By the way, I really love Bozzio, so... you're preaching to the converted. Frank will continue to amaze us, from up there, for many more decades to come. Bye.

I’ve never listened to it. So I pay the price. As a Bowie lover, I need to have this album as soon as possible. I only own the first one. I’ll take care of it. Well done!!!

I listened to U2 - and therefore purchased - their albums up to Acthung Baby. I believe that until this last work, The Edge and the company created great records, evolving for better or worse. Of course, you're right, the simplicity and grit of the first two albums quickly faded away. Boy and War are still worth a listen, nonetheless. However, for almost 15 years now, I can’t stand this band anymore. They've become a bunch of pretentious jingle-makers. How many banal and silly albums - in my opinion - have they released? They manage to redeem themselves, and it’s no small feat, with their monumental live performances. But seeing Bono, who has been front row at fashion shows in Paris and NYC for years, makes me think about how much he’s mocking us. I read in a specialized magazine that U2 - and especially Bono - possess a "financial empire." Good for them. However, since the singer advocates so much for the African people, I hope he puts a bit of his own in it!!! Yes, I admit it. I really can’t stand Bono!!!! U2 died 15 years ago. Sigh!!!!
Supertramp Crisis? What Crisis?

In my opinion, this work is what I prefer. However... it's not that I've ever been crazy about it. I really can't stand Breakfast in America, because of the constant repetition of the same songs on the radio, etc. etc. The album you reviewed, on the other hand, is more humble and genuine. I've never been a fan of Supertramp, so take my thoughts... for what they are. Bye.
