I was alluding to their British origin; then it's clear that it's not a piece with verses and choruses, but still I perceive it as a "pop" experimentation. In that explosion you mentioned, before the Zappa echoes, it sounds like the Arctic Monkeys. If you really have to copy other people's thoughts to manage to say something (not intelligent, let's be clear), at least copy it well. Jerk.

With "Brit-Pop" I was being ironic, alluding to their British origin; it's clear that it's not a piece with verse and chorus, but I still perceive it as a "pop" experimentation. I chose evolution as a key to understanding precisely because I liked the previous one a lot, so if the new ideas have the same effect as "The Garden..." then bring them on, but be careful not to overuse them, otherwise we might get bored in the long run.
