it's not bad indeed, and only time will vindicate me. However, my eye is more of a colleague's than a critic's..

'zzi yours! I don’t have any truth in my pocket, I only show my purity by looking deeper, here I am, there I am, but metal has more virility. Does this sound good to you? Of course, it’s just my personal consideration.

(I also ramble about nothing to do, I would have never wasted time on this category but I believe this can be easily inferred :DDD)

No, Bart, you can't compare what Earthless has done at Roadburn, which you yourself brilliantly described, with hip hop, you just can't. The example of the vigilante might work, but it’s not at all the same kind of discussion. Here, at least there’s some foundation; I’m recognizing certain standards and trying to discredit them because I don’t like them, but I’ve listened, I’ve even appreciated them; it’s the general concept that doesn’t sit well with me. I prefer instrumental music because it’s less intrusive and leaves more space for free interpretation. I really like the beats of Uochi Toki, for example, but I had to eliminate them because I just couldn't stand their expressions of thought. So if I really have to listen to a voice, I’d prefer it not to conform to the genre’s standards, which not only don’t appeal to me but also irritate me. I’m talking about the same assonance at the end of every line and the tough-guy style, just to name a couple... (Franchino doesn’t have it, but I think we agree on him). Saying "the product of a writing effort that has nothing to envy from any other composer of any other musical genre" is like putting a medical graduate on the same level as a graduate in sports science or one in economics with one in tourism science. I don't want to attribute too many merits to those who do hip hop; they express their thoughts, and they can do it with style or not, okay, but "musically speaking," it doesn't say anything.

But we're talking about 90's Dance, we're talking about people who managed to release two or at most three tracks in their entire career, which is already a lot, and among these poor souls, you can be sure that Molella doesn't stand out (or at least try to prove me otherwise). He might have been good at transitioning from one track to another, with Albertino reciting a slogan over it, but even there, there were those who did it better than him. Please don't spout nonsense. Now I understand your comment number 29, and now it really makes me laugh...

So you appreciated Molella or was it a joke? (in any case, it wasn't funny)

@Bartle: Are we giving this any credit now? I'm not a genius, but many times I happen to guess the word that will conclude a sentence. It's because they can also be good at choosing among a few words, but the outcome isn't surprising. My aunt is excellent at picking good melons at the supermarket, but that doesn’t make her a genius or an artist. In Amsterdam, I met a homeless man/street artist who would come ask for change. Whatever you replied to him, he'd start rapping, following the theme that he was a good guy and deserved some coins. I tried to say words in different languages, but he could rap in Spanish and Dutch (besides Italian and English) too. Now that was a damn artist; in fact, I left him €10 (and believe me, I was counting every penny on that trip). But even the Dalek I’m listening to right now isn’t bad; "Distorded Prose" really throws you off, and I can hardly imagine it as the Zelig theme song. @TRAUMACRONICO: Nice and straight! But they aren't comparable; listening to certain beats, I doubt they aim for the mainstream. They're right there; if you want them, you have to seek them out...
