No Franza, you can't get away with "de gustibus" here, especially because you're doing a cover; this 5 needs to be justified.

It’s a 3.5 rounded up to 4. It’s true it’s a good record; you talk about certain musicians, I talk about certain sounds. What Oleeinar says, in my opinion, only happens in the few ballads; the rest is really heavy and emotional. It doesn't have the pretension of being liked; rather, it just sits there waiting to be understood. Cantrell knows how to write songs, quite well I’d say; if he wanted a superficial job, he could have easily produced one, but that’s not the case. Give it a try. A sincere and truthful reception.

I find them annoying because they are pronounced with the attitude of a historian who thinks they know everything, while still devaluing a group that, in fact, exists in history books. Do you understand what the point is? It's not about seeing how alternative they are or how trendy they are at the moment. This is history, and mediocrity does not become part of history. With Bimbominkia, I meant young and presumptuous in this case (which are two fine qualities, but depending on the context), not demented or various interpretations that circulate on the web. ;)

"It doesn't flow as a speech. I listen, I inform myself, and then I speak." What a terrible phrase. It sounds like the pretentious slogan of a leader of a political-sociocultural-millennial movement. Maybe you even got the order wrong (it would be better to inform-listen-understand-speak) and you forgot another very important verb to include between listening and speaking, which is to understand. As far as I'm concerned, on this page you've unleashed tons of crap and presumption. The search for the alternative clouds your mind; what do the Green River have to do with it?? Thousands of garage-embryonic bands had another name. Your comments and your pseudo-music history are trend-driven.

I missed this one! The Father of all Spidermen, Giaigiò, X-Men, and a thousand other superheroes with troubled love stories that come close to death but pull themselves together and kick the asses of bad, drug-addicted communists...

Franci, I don’t want to come off as pretentious, but reading web pages and listening to stories can give you a sense of a particular era, but you can't truly experience it. Therefore, you'll never fully grasp all the allure surrounding Pearl Jam; they are a band for your peers, but from the '90s. The gritty sound, Eddie's raspy voice... Those were essential elements of that time, young people were waiting for a rough and rebellious voice to identify with, and they conveyed so much power. Mediocre is not good enough. Respect for the old young folks. Oh wow! A 2, 4, and even a 5*!? Well…

Three major projects and never any bad stuff, on the contrary. Albarn is a serious one. I miss this.
