There was a reference to this that is said to be the best, nice there, I'll give it a review since I've often overlooked it in the past.

Eve sucks (and that's not the point), but the fact that right after the concept the Dead pops up from the same label as the concept Eve makes the trend a bit clearer. I used to feel like listening to them often, but after listening to Come My Fanatics... really not much anymore. There's not a reference for every album, indeed, there is one but it's always the same; it’s as if all the Ufomammut were enclosed in there. They took the Electric Wizard formula, broke it down, reworked the separate parts (and here they were really good) so they could spread it over several albums. Eve, on the other hand, is a product of theirs, and you can tell. :D

Ufomammut are good, but they don't deserve a mention in this discussion, also because from the point of view of copying, they are veery Japanese (not in the sense that they copy from the Japanese, but in the sense that they copy), with the only difference that they are not equipped with their technique. ;)

Envy seems like Mono but in a screamo version, beautiful though. Does anyone know these?

Here, in Ramona's second link (Wata aside), they look like Tokio Hotel :)

Cristo Coma White! A friend of mine says that playing covers to get known is like showing up for a porno audition holding the mold of John Holmes' penis.

On this point, we're all in agreement, a rarity indeed.
