Nice analysis. I also followed the TV show from start to finish; it’s very smooth and easy to watch. The portrayal of certain characters (Seth) is interesting. As for the scenery and the narration, everything feels muffled and polished, but that's exactly what goes hand in hand with the characters, masks elevated to idols that generate a common and human reality.

@Fosca: forget about the movie, it's truly abominable and has nothing to do with it (a terribly adapted version with a different plot, a flat atmosphere even though it tries to maintain the intent but without any effort, hastily portraying the dark and smoky New York depicted in the video game; having played both games, especially the first one.
