...in fact, thinking about it, you’re right...! Maybe it was because when I watched it, I went in with the mindset of expecting a stinking horror, an idea that faded as I watched... I appreciated the soundtrack on its own, but I still haven’t been able to reconcile it with what I expected from the movie... I also fall into stereotypes sometimes! :D Anyway, still a great film...!

I completely agree on all fronts! There are a few things that ruin certain good ideas... for example, I can't understand the reason for THAT soundtrack: I mean, I'm a heavy metal fan, as you know, but in a horror film, I just can't fit those upbeat tracks by Accept and Motley Crue in there, I don't get it... I would have preferred the usual eerie keyboard instead of "Fast As A Shark" by Accept, which I think would fit better in a road movie... whatever, great film anyway!!

Beautiful! "Symphony Of Steel" is fantastic! DeFeis's voice scratches like the roar of a leopard.. amazing! But... "stylistic woodpecker"? What is that, a bird that drills into trees with artistic flair? Does it make little columns at the entrance of the nest? :D
