As far as I'm concerned, Pino Scotto's most recent musical career is, after the singles with Caparezza, Club Dogo, and J-Ax, completely forgettable: I mean, where has that Rock'n'Roll he talks so much about gone?... Then, another thing: what do you mean when you write that "this piece essentially protests against Italy in general"? ....??? What is it, is he also against the Alps and the Apennines, for instance??

Although at the time I was veeeeery little, 4-5 years old, I remember Bonolis; I have vague flashes of him on Bim Bum Bam!! Then, true, I experienced more consciously the period of Carlo-Roberto-Debora-Carlotta... what lovely afternoons, though...! By the way, I even crossed paths with Carlotta two years ago at the Mestre station... maybe she was going to Venice, who knows! I almost wanted to stop her, not even sure what to say, but I saw her leaving quickly with one of her "televendita" companions and I let it go...

The only thing I point out: I think you meant to write "sconvolgente" and "sconvolgimento" instead of "scoinvolgente" and "scoinvolgimento," RIGHT???? I won't rate the album because I just can't listen to them... anyway, that "now I’m putting away the joint, I promise" had me rolling!

@THESANTO: Well, according to Richard, he would have collaborated as a session man with Rovescio Della Medaglia in some live shows following the recording of "Contaminazione" (not on the album itself, though), but not as a guitarist, rather as a singer, replacing the resigning Pino Ballarini.

Deserving review but YOU DIDN'T MENTION THAT GEM "TOKYO NIGHTS!!!!!" Wow, but it's alright anyway! Great album, I personally prefer it even to "Headhunter": "Tokyo Nights," "Streamer," "Fire," the same "Heatstrokes"... here the Krokus are more sincere than ever. Well done!

I've never liked this album: apart from the first three songs, it just doesn't flow for me anymore... I give it a passing grade because the immense class of these wonderful characters still shines through in these tracks... for the rest, in my humble opinion, it's a forgettable episode in their discography; it's better to focus on other things instead...

I’ll try to console myself regarding those 15 euros thrown to the wind by thinking that maybe the reissue has at least respected the ideas contained in the original...
