Oh my, what a rediscovery! I haven't listened to this, but I still have absolute respect for Ronnie Montrose, may he rest in peace among the greats of Rock. ...then, I don't want to be mistaken, but the first album you mentioned, "Montrose," wasn’t it released in '73? In '74, if I remember correctly, "Paper Money" came out...

...well, paradoxically, I love this film and other movies like it for the very same reasons you scorn them, go figure...! But you had the courage to bring this gem up (and therefore to actually watch it), so credit where it's due! The film itself is a blast, the zombies are, in my opinion, "made up" in the perfect way to convey the idea of the decay of millennia spent underground, which makes the "cartoonish" effect more than justified and quite realistic for me: they almost look like mummies! The scene with the zombie monks is award-worthy... no, not an Oscar, but a Nobel Prize straight up! Finally, the usual dose of tits never hurts..! For fans of horror-trash, this is an essential masterpiece, damn!!! XD
Omen Eternal Black Dawn

Well done, Hellring, for remembering the good old Omen too! I only have the first three of theirs: after I happened to catch a glimpse of "Reopening The Gates," I lost interest...

"A supporting actor who is more believable while, dressed in a sack of potatoes, waves a green lightsaber in the air." You are a poet.

Uriah Heep Sweet Freedom
Voto:
I still really like this album, despite some obvious weaknesses, but here I think our Uriah Heep were still pretty "charged"...!

...beautiful! An outing perhaps not perfect but to be reassessed...! "Black Sabbath," "Pact With Lucifer," "Wicked Woman," and "Dignitaries Of Hell" are very evocative; "Black Mass" is a tacky piece that could frankly have been avoided, but in the end, it adds a touch of color (black) to the album! One extra point for affection (and for the hot chick!).
