In reality, the integrated model should include the use of solar energy to create hydrogen from water... Then hydrogen would become a kind of "storage" for solar energy (an almost infinite energy source, even if it's not always available). Only in this way can we free ourselves from dependence on fossil fuels.

The film did not excite me; in my opinion, it illustrates the cultural gap between the USA and Europe when it comes to environmentalism. In other words, what Gore is so animated about throughout the film may have shocked Americans, but here it has been common knowledge for a while... Rather, it’s the review that leaves me puzzled in some parts. It may be true that Gore exaggerates and is alarmist, but the arguments used to refute him dangerously resemble those put forward by the Bush administration, multinational corporations, and the like: everything is under control, it cannot currently be proven that global warming is caused by the increase in greenhouse gases... Why not instead talk about a production system solely based on the absurd paradigm of continuous and constant growth (there is no physical quantity that can grow indefinitely), and, absurdly enough, based on fossil fuels that will run out within a few decades?

Oh well, I also prefer the review of Steely Dan! But I don't get reviews like that every day! ;-) However, I didn't quite understand the point about the cover: you don't like it? And why should I be bothered? I didn't make it! ;-)

The movie is very good, I'd say a 4 and a half. The review is a bit brief, to be honest... You could have at least elaborated a little more on the plot...
