The nonmipiaceilcirco are a unique band because they combine a sound born from various traditions and experimentalism in jazz, noise, and refined pop, with meticulously crafted lyrics and surgical precision in being unpredictable and not obvious. Speaking of the band's history, it can be said that they have two works behind them, "Con una macchia d'asfalto sul viso" from 2004, and "La solita giornata felice" from 2006, works that led to the schizoid, yet highly refined, art-rock of this album.

As you delve into the 14 tracks of the album, you're immediately struck by the psychological tension provoked by the first track called "Passeggiata", where a few sick notes of glockenspiel collide with eerie, stunned percussion reminiscent of the psychotic lullabies of early 80s horror films. Then the second piece "Moriamo quotidianamente", is a textual exploration into what can be defined as the Pirandellian mask of appearance and suspicion, the fear of being without judgment and tension, while musically offering a refined free jazz with piano at the forefront and electronic drums and background guitars. "Con la Ue con la a" is an almost danceable piece, serving as a backdrop to the claustrophobic lullaby of "Felicità da Pub", where the melancholic theatricality of the keyboard plays with the filtered voice in the background. "Test for dummies" features a beautiful piano riff where the lyrics mix with the tension produced by the musicality and expressed melody. "Gioia e destino" increases fear and anguish but at the same time takes us to a world of flatness and absolute squalor from a general perspective, "Nietzsche ti chiama cancro" is the natural continuation of "con la U e la a", while "nell'Allegra fattoria" plays with jazz and the claustrophobic pop of the 80s new wave. "La puttana puritana", "Domino e Domino" amplify the will to make protest textuality a foundational element, and especially in "Domino e Domino", normalcy is the worst enemy to face and eliminate. The last four tracks "Con la u e la e a", "Copertina rosa", "Piece" and "Signora e poltrona" close the tension of the album and bring us to an underlying melancholy, sensitivity, and sweetness at the forefront, like a dancer closing a sharp and angular ballet.
