Daryl Hall Sacred Songs
Voto:
I may be mistaken, but "Exposure" was also supposed to be sung by Daryl Hall. The latter is very underrated... Do you think this album deserves even 5 stars? I'll listen to it and then I'll let you know. The review is excellent, as usual.
Alex Skolnick Trio Last Day in Paradise
Voto:
Nothing to say: Skolnick knows how to play jazz, and he does it with skill and good taste. Here, in my opinion, he has decreased slightly compared to his early days, but he still remains at very high levels.

Smash, "su casu marzu"! I love you.
Al Di Meola World Sinfonia Heart of the Immigrants
Voto:
I take Di Meola with a grain of salt, but if Dino Saluzzi and Arto Tuncboyacian are also there...

Thank you omaha. @odra, don't worry, I also spend most of my time reading "frivolous things."

As macaco rightly pointed out, the list of "tyrants" has noticeably shortened in recent years, and in fact, this diminishes the impact of Brecht's phrase... Thirty years ago, we would have had to count "gentlemen" like Pinochet, Castelo Branco, and Videla, who were greeted at the time as "liberators" by the Western world. Only the imperishable Castro remains, now repeatedly cited by our local "liberals alla amatriciana": he is the only one who allows them to speak up, giving some semblance of consistency to their arguments. Chávez a tyrant? I understand he was democratically elected.

So, it must be a personal issue, but I picked up "Restaurant at the End of the Universe" and put it down after 20 pages to never pick it up again. Do you think this deserves more?

Basically, I agree. I also really liked "Morph The Cat"; in fact, between the two, I have a slight preference for the latter.
