If I hadn't read it on this page, I would have never believed it: a film like that shown in a school???? Until last year, I was a high school student and in my school, the film club worked differently... what a shame. The point is that beyond the film, the success of such stories (whether in film or book form) is a sad sociological phenomenon. Pure nausea.

I have seen "Almost Blue" and "Siero della vanità" by Infascelli, and I must say I wouldn't give them more than 3 stars; they are interesting. They left me with a sense of incompleteness, sometimes even a bit shabby. I note with disdain the attempt to place himself halfway between Argento and Lynch, when in reality, for a good outcome, he should aim proportionally to his own abilities (Lower down. Compared to Lynch, for sure...). Nice review.

Sure, Tim Burton is a visionary, he’s great, astonishing, wonderful, etc. But he can also make mistakes or fall flat, so defending him a priori seems silly to me. Like every remake, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" doesn't hold a candle to the original, but for the "followers," obviously, this too is a masterpiece. To define "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" as such means to undervalue other works by Burton that deserve much, much more consideration than this one.
