More of an essay than a review...great though.

The review loses its way in the track-by-track, but in the end, it is quite comprehensive. Dido did not meet expectations with the subsequent album "Life for Rent," but this "No Angel" remains an excellent debut, surely better than that "Playing My Game" by Marlin, which follows the same line as this one.

My favorite Verdone. In my opinion, Verdone remains one of the few Italian directors capable of making comedies that do not descend into gratuitous vulgarity, with funny and never silly dialogues. Moreover, his comedy is brilliant, neurotic, with a bitter aftertaste. For me, a great.
