A type of requirement that remains self-contained since a reviewer must write independently of ratings. If you are confident in what you write, you do not need justifications that sound, by the way, slightly out of place, as claiming to know how to review a film solely based on what it made you feel indicates an awareness that the standards the site is used to are much higher...
Carla Bruni No Promises

As a character, she doesn't convince me much; the marriage that made her the "queen" of France seems to me more like a media stunt for both her and him. I don't know, maybe I'm being overly paranoid. As an artist, she doesn't seem bad at all; let's say she fits into the niche of singers who dabble in light music with a little guitar in hand, a faint voice, and existential-sentimental themes on their mind, a bit like Violante Placido, for example. Well, it's always better than a Jamelia or Naomi Campbell...

Exactly, but is it fair to talk about prejudice against a film that SURELY turns out to be mediocre, flashy, and driven solely and exclusively by special effects? The review is written with obvious mistakes; for a specific judgment, I refer to post no. 8... and okay, you're half foreign, but still... P.S.: I was perplexed... can you say that???

Never seen in person but the review is splendid.

The review is just like the album: quick and incisive... perhaps a bit too much. I'm curious about their new work, hoping it will be a worthy follow-up to the disgraceful "Around the sun."

Honestly, I don’t think "Medulla" is unlistenable and pretentious. Bjork’s best albums remain those from 1993 to 2001, just to clarify, those before the greatest hits. But with "Medulla," she managed to keep the bar high; it’s something that goes beyond a simple (simple?) vocal album, gathering in itself an extreme experimentation that turns the most everyday sounds into true artistic expressions (How can we forget "Ancestors," for instance?). As for "Volta," as you can see, I refrained from giving a rating because I couldn’t give my beloved Bjork a score lower than 4, but I was let down. Okay, it’s an elegant album, easy to listen to, evocative. But where’s the courage to reshape pop as in "Post"? Where’s the extreme experimentation of "Debut"? Where are the melodies of "Homogenic"? "Volta" is not a piece of junk, on the contrary, but it’s just not enough...

I'm sorry, but it seems you've sent only a series of question marks. Please provide the text you would like me to translate.
