Dark Side... you either get it or you hate it. Two options, that's it. Obviously, you haven't understood it at all, calling it a musical product so superficial and thrown together haphazardly... do you think Waters' lyrics are superficial, Gilmour's notes are just simple music?
How can one remain indifferent while listening to that heartbeat? That's the magic of The Dark Side Of The Moon... a summary of the human mind in just over 40 minutes. Let those who want to understand, understand. Regards.

In "Bike" there are sounds towards the end that remind me TOO MUCH of the clocks in "Time" and also sounds that remind me too much of the Albatross in "Echoes"... a beautiful album, a product of Barrett’s genius, my favorite track is "Interstellar Overdrive". They may seem like trivial little songs at first listen and continue to seem that way if one is foolish. But it's a stroke of genius for its time. You can hear some Beatles influences in Barrett’s songwriting, even though Syd would swallow the Beatles whole. We consider Lennon among the greats of psychedelia, and we always forget Barrett… a big mistake. Like all Floyd albums, it makes me feel great emotions and sentiments that only music can provide. :) review so-so...
