Muse Origin Of Symmetry
Voto:
When it was released, it grabbed me quite a bit. However, let’s remember that time is the best judge for evaluating an album (and not only that), and after a few years I think this can absolutely not be considered a masterpiece. Some great songs and a few too many tacky moments. Aside from the first album, Muse (whom I also saw live when I liked them more) suffer too much from grandiosity. P.S.: as I write, I’m listening for the second time to "And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside-Out" by Yo La Tengo; a very fascinating album.

A wonderful album that moves you from the first to the last note. A timely and well-written review.
Franco Battiato Fetus
Voto:
Seminal album (given the theme of the album, it seems an apt adjective). A debut with a bang for the great Battiato.
Linkin Park Live from SoHo

I call them "The Backstreet Boys with a guitar." It also reminds me of Battiato when he talks about "Fake rock" music. Truly terrible.
Nick Drake Five Leaves Left
Voto:
Such a pity that he left so soon. Sublime musician, perhaps his best album.
Sonohra Liberi da sempre

Do you know what makes me the most angry? The fact that I saw them improvising rock and blues on a show and they were doing exceptionally well. Anyway, their songs are pathetic.
David Bowie Scary monsters

Between 3 and 4 stars. It’s not among his best, but it remains a nice album; Ashes To Ashes is a legendary track.

Starblazer disparages Radiohead and then praises Muse. But does he realize that this album owes a lot to the guys from Oxford? Showbiz is their best work; the second one is decent, but the others are nothing special.
Death Cab for Cutie Narrow Stairs
Voto:
The album is enjoyable and does not disappoint expectations. Nonetheless, "Plans" remains a step above. Three and a half stars.

Perhaps he was mistaken. He meant to say that "The final countdown" is one of the most over-the-top songs in the history of hard rock.
