R.E.M. Around The Sun
Voto:
While it’s not a bad album, I think it’s their least successful (pretty much all the critics agree); I’m referring especially to the arrangements and the production, which in certain instances come off as weak and redundant. For Starblazer: Stipe claimed to feel almost fear realizing how good Radiohead are. Who knows, you can't stand them now, but one day you’ll review each of their albums. Almost 3 stars for "Around The Sun."
Elbow The Seldom Seen Kid
Voto:
Great! They won the award for Best English and Irish Album of 2008.
Mercury Rev Snowflake Midnight
Voto:
I've listened to it 4-5 times already. I think they've given their best and that it's an album with ups and downs. You still appreciate their ability to never make the same album.
Peter Gabriel Peter Gabriel III
Voto:
Ghemison, if you haven't done so, listen to the early albums of Genesis with Gabriel. I doubt you'll continue to dislike them.
Pink Floyd Atom Heart Mother
Voto:
Masterpiece like at least 4 other albums by Pink Floyd.
Radiohead Kid A
Voto:
I really think it's a 4 or 5-star rating for him. The thing is that when you forget to add them, it automatically shows 3.
Radiohead Kid A
Voto:
The album is already eight years old but still feels ahead of its time today. After the success of Ok Computer, they showed great courage by refusing to release a work that maintained those sounds. I repeat: without Radiohead (especially from their first three albums), it’s hard to imagine groups like Muse (before producing Showbiz, they must have listened to The Bends to the point of nausea) or Coldplay existing.
The Beach Boys Wild Honey
Voto:
The Beach Boys are legendary, but I miss this. Anyway, "Beatlesian Echoes."
John Lennon Imagine
Voto:
The album is valuable even if it falls short of Lennon’s production with the Beatles. Regarding the last comment: no one deserves to be hung around the neck, never and ever.
Tokio Hotel Scream
Voto:
Shit to the power of infinity.
