@Schizoid: possibly give the album another listen later, it’s normal for such a record to throw the listener off a bit at first, an excellent album for me with a rare originality (you might not change your mind, but give it another try ;)).

Voices that excite in Post Rock? Efrim Menuck, Jonsi, Brian McMahan, if we consider Post-"Rock" to also include Post-Hardcore, one name stands out: David Yow, and in the singer-songwriter scene of the time, Will Oldham etc... :)

It is not allowed to blaspheme, do not take the name of Fripp in vain!

Beautiful and fun piece of writing, which I’m adding to my favorites. I just wanted to say... "Fripp in Sassoferrato is like saying, I don’t know, the Rolling Stones in Assisi." As much as I like the Rolling Stones, in comparison to the bespectacled God, I wouldn’t have cared less about their concert. However, it holds up as a comparison to help those reading understand the importance of the event, definitely noteworthy :)

Great review, but Bon Jovi...every man for himself! (personal tastes) :D

Here’s a band artistically with quite a few credentials, rooted in the tradition of their more or less nearby nations and with a sound that manages to be very contemporary, true and pure Prog, recommended for anyone, not just lovers of the genre.

You have made me doubt whether she is really a "topa," maybe she has a "topo" instead of a "topa" and the guy has a type of car and isn't really that rich. (quote)

@Taxi: I understand your point, I never questioned what you wanted to say, I have always appreciated your writings, maybe I misunderstood the first paragraph, sorry :) my criticism was nonetheless towards MTV for promoting certain bands as pure chocolate when they are just mediocre chocolate in some cases, nothing more ;) I will listen to the album and I'm sure I will enjoy it.
