This film is beautiful, my favorite of the Don Camillo and Peppone saga. The scenes where Don Camillo pretends to be a communist in the USSR, and the final scene where Peppone takes off his (Stalin-like) mustache and goes to America, where he too has to pretend to be a priest, is the end of the world.

I must admit that a few centuries ago, this album completely captivated me; I listened to nothing else for weeks and weeks. I haven't listened to it in ages, and honestly, I don't feel like revisiting it, but as they say, nostalgia is a sneaky thing, and in its own way, this album is unique.

From a drumming perspective, Lars comes out with his bones crushed compared to Dave Lombardo or Paul Bostaph!!! Hammett, guitar-wise, is worth more on his own than King and Hannemann combined.
