Time has shown the true value of the drim tiater, a band that has produced a couple of great albums and a ton of crap.
Halford Resurrection

It's interesting to note that both Halford and Dickinson, upon leaving their respective bands, released solo albums that overshadowed those of their former bands (Halford's "Resurrection," which ridicules the "Demolition" of Priest, and Bruce's "The Chemical Wedding," which disintegrates the terrible "Virtual XI" of Maiden), thus paving the way for their return to the bands themselves!

Joy and cheerfulness are not part of this album, nor of thrash metal in general, which was characterized by a constant dark and apocalyptic atmosphere. Of course, there were the necessary exceptions, like bands such as SOD or DRI, but in general, that was the vibe in the thrash scene.............

And I repeat to you that the best way to satisfy your curiosity is to listen to a track, maybe Lack Of Comprehension (which is very melodic) and judge for yourself.............. anyway, I hear much more growl than scream, and then the bass parts are perfectly clear, and I would like to see, since we're talking about a gentleman by the name of Steve Di Giorgio, not to mention the fact that the album was produced by another equally renowned gentleman named Scott Burns...........

for Taurus: there’s a very particular and "recognizable" growl, in the sense that if you're used to listening to death metal you can distinguish the lyrics, then in one way or another all extreme metal bands have been influenced by Slayer!! I don’t think I’m exaggerating when I say that Araya and the others were the Black Sabbath of extreme metal..................

I also prefer Individual, but I completely agree with you that this was the last album of Death that was truly death metal. What can I say, lucky you for having lived through that era; I hadn’t even reached double digits in '91, so you can understand that death metal was certainly not on my mind back then!!! I also agree that many of the masterpieces released during those years are, musically speaking, still unparalleled today. For example, just yesterday I listened to Testimony Of The Ancients by Pestilence again, and I have to say that despite having listened to it countless times, it never sounds old or outdated, managing to reveal new aspects of itself with every listen.
