Oh, "Certe Notti" is beautiful yes, I remember it, pure Orphic poetry, centered on him going bad in the tireless attempt to get it on with the mosquitoes...what a text, what miraculous hyperboles!!!

Upon closer re-reading, however, I noticed that you do not explicitly address the triangular construction of the work, both figuratively and semantically; with the bipolarity of the wife who, in an "apparently passive" manner, serves as a vertex that changes each time (and is almost elusive or indefinable) in relation to the linear and basic tension that is established between the two male subjects.

Well, Easy, Earthtone 9 didn't sound very "nu-metal," but they were a nice hybrid of Tool, stoner rock, and some death (most associate them with their latest album "Arctangent," which, while good, is their most accessible and "melodic").

Look at that great revival (in recent weeks, the film proposals were quite disappointing), until "Che?" Roman was a remarkable director, but the peaks for me are "Cul de Sac" (banal) and, above all, "Repulsion"!!! Great analysis.

Go apple of discord, this time they won't mess with you en masse!!! However, I'm not familiar with the album; I stuck with "Buy Now... Saved Later!" They weren't Earthtone 9, but they managed fairly well.

What a name and title, though! Aren't they a bit pretentious??!... maybe they want to snatch away from Port-Royàl (they're opening for the Meganoidi..."Vanessa" Beecroft...could they also be from Genoa??!...the surnames don’t seem to suggest that...) the throne of the most cerebraloid nomothetes in the Beautiful Country ; ).

Oh, the discussion is getting interesting here... because I give a lot of "genre"-related importance to the term "post-core." I see it as applicable to all those groups that, starting from a hardcore foundation, have continued by incorporating "other" sound solutions, achieving results that are often "brilliant" in their own right (though the original approach remains intelligible). Meanwhile, I perceive the term "noise" more as an adjective applicable to the most varied "genres" (think of drones or power-noise in electronics, which fundamentally have roots that predate the often-abused "rock" case of Sonic Youth. But didn’t Hendrix in the late '60s sound "noisy" to his contemporaries?!)

Great proposal, but it feels more institutionally pedagogical (and less delinquent) than usual (de gustibus...sorry!). I've been listening for too short a time to have a well-rounded idea, but it seems to me, at first glance, to sound more controlled, less visceral compared to that gem "How Long are You Staying" (which, with the Gattinogina, the hemophiliac and two-headed Egyptian deity against a pink background, even had a more shamelessly glamorous cover). They are definitely worth a listen, though! I'll postpone the numerical judgments to postridie postridentine! Cheers!
