"The consort has a spouse, but (not just the thought of) the consort is the disruptor of every spouse." (O Krishna, scatter aphorisms left and right and, while sharing a Kappa "Kakana" as initiation, you haven't delighted us even with one from Master Karl Kraus: Squirrtttt!!!... Oops, it even comes out liquid...)

Why do the mice end up in this sordid lair only when they can't find better cheese, yet they can never completely wipe the thought of sweet Auricchio from their minds... By the way, whatever happened to MetallaroBionico??!!!

Well, guitars "prepped" on stage don't look particularly good, that's true, but it's also true that they are (or should be) synonymous with professionalism; it’s simply a matter of minimizing downtime, since the "roadie" in question is usually the trusted tuner who has just finished setting up the instrument for the upcoming piece. All in all, I find the opposite attitude equally frustrating, when at a one-and-a-half-hour concert, almost half of the available time is spent by the band noodling around and messing about to tune between songs.

Anyway, even though it's really beautiful, for the 2008 gold disc "medal," I would place this slightly below "Prehistoricism" by Intronaut.

Defining Sean Kinney as merely a drummer, however, means not taking the rhythm into too much consideration. He certainly contributes to the sound "blend" of "A.i.C." with a distinctive and recognizable drumming style (and you can hear it even more when listening to and comparing his contributions to Cantrell's "solo" albums, where in most tracks the sessions were handed over to Mr. "prezzemolino" Mike Bordin). A telling quote comes from a drummer friend of mine who, years ago, whenever he was called to play covers of so-called "grunge" bands, would panic only with a few tracks from "A.i.C.", saying: "Sorry, but I just can’t play these, at least until I learn to play the drums with the snare behind my back!!!" ; )

Bëlo (the album) and Brävo (the electric 1 that gets all 5s), but... it was already there... well "all roads lead to the radioactive lizard meat".

Mmmm, so it seems to me that here more than "Vernon Style" we stick to the coordinates of "Collections of Colonies of Bees," which generally come off as a cover band of "Don Caballero" under lidocaine.

Here, however, we start from a not very reliable assumption, because it seems to me that they've been pulling quite a few lines for a while now.

Thank you, Bartolo, even though I've already managed by doing "An Ghin Gò, which album should I listen to?!" and I ended up with "Planetfall," not bad, not bad, even if... it might be my obsession, but: why do these "new space-rock-metal bands" all seem to have to throw the drummer into the cupboard to bang on skins and utensils?!! Are they ruining their Persian rugs??!!!

DuVall does an excellent job supporting Cantrell's vocals, to the point that the differences with the past are almost imperceptible. Aside from that, he has a tone that reminds me more of certain thrash metal-style vocalizations. The problem arises when, even in the structure of the songs, some guitar breaks seem to mimic Dave Mustaine (the ones in "Last of My Kind" and "Acid Bubble" I just can't swallow, they ruin tracks that, otherwise, wouldn't be half bad).
