When I read comparisons of these guys with sacred monsters like Pink Floyd, Led, etc., maybe not in this review but in others, I always feel a shiver of annoyance in my kidneys... what the hell. They might be good musicians, they might be engaging live and all that, but they remain nothing more than clowns in heavy rotation for horny thirteen-year-olds, and Gilmour and the gang never dreamed of appealing to hot girls with crap like "and this is dedicated to youuu" or "come to mmeeeeee."

May the Lord provide for them in this life and the next. Immense.

I still don't get the point of those initial references to radio play and sales. The more an artist sells, the more you have to worry; the more they're played on the radio, the more I frown. I don’t even listen to the radio anymore (except for Virgin) because of their ongoing and paid contribution to the relentless promotion of the crap that this guy fits into with all his shoes. Not to mention I hate those idiots who talk over the songs, cutting the intro or interrupting them with their nonsense... but then what the hell kind of voice does he have...

Yeah, but all this praise for Rihanna, unless it’s for that ebony ass and those light eyes and just for that, is as out of place as Britni's earthly existence.

well come on, Sister Genoveffa, let's not exaggerate, if only all the toilets were like her. She's the classic slut for wild sex, pretty but not stunning, a bit curvy if you want, the typical whore who picks up drunk on Friday night in some disco pub or trendy spot (because today it’s full of these rough and brash women who think they're classy and frequent fancy places) you screw her anywhere and then drop her off at home and not in the alley where you banged her, just because you're a gentleman. Let’s say she’s not the cream of the crop, that the super hot ones are elsewhere, but even the toilets are different, come on.

...not to mention yet another character trying to make a quick buck off the usual sickening discount pacifism that has been trendy for the past 3-4 years (the reference in the title to the casus belli in Iraq)...what a shame, I used to like Annie...

Review that explains excellently how the world of "music" works today, with a scheme applicable to any of the "artists" who are in vogue right now: image, fashion, throwaway tunes, and nothing, nothing that comes close to the concept of Music as it should be. And in the end, it wouldn't even be a bad thing if only all that vast mass of sheep following the various Britneys, Madonnas, Finleys, Ligabues, etc. didn't make ridiculous claims about good music. It would just be enough for them to admit, "Yes, it's true, I listen to these little songs because I understand them," and instead here they go, starting to spout nonsense about poetry, art, melody, message, etc. etc. That's the whole problem.

They may be good at playing, and they may be engaging live and everything you want, but comparing the various Pink Floyd, Led, and the like to these puppets for the teenage girls of TRL still sends significant shivers of disgust down the spine. And then, Plant and Gilmour have never sung stuff like "vvieni da mmmeeeeee, and this is dedicated to you" to win over said masses of 13-year-old girls in heat, and what the hell...
