I honestly don't see the problem. Or rather, I see it, but I'm not too alarmed because in a few decades, if not sooner, oil and other fossil fuels will run out. The immense engine of Western civilization will come to a sudden stop like a car running out of gas in the middle of the highway, and pollution will be the least of our worries; in fact, it won’t be a problem at all. The headaches will be very different, instead. Al Gore should make a nice documentary on this topic, and if he wants, I can suggest a title: "When We Grab Each Other by the Balls or Dry Oil Fields..."
