Well, I should count them, but there are about 700-800, not an enormous amount... however, I can boast that they are all well-selected and in excellent condition, none of them has a scratch!

I feel only by name, I'm curious! In your opinion, what is their most interesting-satisfying album?

Right, and in the end, we'll buy them!! The problem when you're addicted to music is that you don't just buy one CD, but 10-12-15 a month, if not more during some moments of madness...at the pub, on the other hand, I'll go maybe 3-4 times...a year! ;-) Speaking of the photo, I was referring to the same one you mentioned, perhaps the non-shrunk version is prettier, but the zoomed-in one is quite striking in the context of a cover, we think the same way! P.S.: the other album forgotten by Shorter is the one I mentioned in post number 9.

Hi Meli, why should it be wrong? Quite the opposite! ;-) P.S.: another highly recommended listen... John McLaughlin "Extrapolation" from '69, for me it's his masterpiece, engaging like few others and played beautifully by a stellar group, with crazy rhythms. Recommended to everyone, of course, by the way we were just talking about guitarists!

Muff, by Abercrombie, I would recommend listening to "Timeless," "Characters," the excellent "November" with John Surman, Marc Johnson, and Peter Erskine, and "Cat 'N' Mouse," featuring Mark Feldman, Marc Johnson, and the great Joey Baron.

And even the cover of that album is one of the most beautiful...a truly intense close-up! Perhaps the best photo of Shorter, capturing his elusive and sidelong gaze, just like his personality. And now I'm off to vote!
