Ah, perhaps not everyone knows that "Impressions" is none other than the famous "So What" by Davis from the Kind Of Blue era, only faster! Coltrane performed scorching versions of "Impressions" at the Village Vanguard in '61, but even more blistering versions of "So What" were delivered by Miles' quintet live in the years '64-'65.

I really like it when you say: "puffy and intimate" (a shy little bust?), and then: "where a bit of everything fits" (a bit of Spanish style, in short)! Wes is a great artist, I don't know this double...

Opel, I set off with "Trans-Europe Express"! What can I say, a beautiful musical world, but I had an enormous feeling of déjà-vu, probably due to the incredible influence that Kraftwerk had. It was as if I already knew the album without ever having heard it! P.S.: but where does the synthesizer riff of the title track come from? I've heard it 3000 times, I don’t think it’s theirs... Black, did you do the armadietten? Unfortunately, I was alone during the editing and wasn't filmed, those unique images will thus be lost forever, like tears in the rain...

Thank you very much, dear Omaha, and nice to meet you! I see you're a guitarist and a die-hard Methenian. But Uxo is worse than you ;-) If you love Jazz, I wholeheartedly recommend checking out the recent reviews of JakeChambers and Dolphy, as well as the "old-fashioned" ones of the monstrous Grasshopper, Hal, Odradek (perhaps the absolute best on the site), which cover a wide range of genres! Welcome.

Anyway, it was Bobby PeRu and not Pelù... and he doesn’t say "scopami, scopami..." to the ARRAPATA (and not terrified) girl, but "DI CHIAVAMI!...CHIAVAMI!...CHIAVAMI!.. .ECC. ECC." holding one hand on her neck and the other on her vagina. The best line was from my friend, who at the end of the scene declared with the utmost normalcy and without any emphasis: "It happens to me all the time." ;-))) The scene obviously ends with her giving in and saying CHIAVAMI, and he, laughing, pulls away saying: "One day I will, don’t worry, but right now I have to go!"

Yes, in fact, he is a flabby and tremulous fifty-year-old, with early onset senile dementia. But fortunately for him, early onset dementia is also quite common...

Yes, but don’t lose track of Ciucci!

This time I didn't like you at all... "No one divides the fanbase like he does." The fanbase is just one, that of the indoctrinated fans of this guy. "Meanwhile, his albums are now almost the only ones selling, and if he were to do ten consecutive shows in San Siro, he'd always sell out. A new album of his drops? It's a prior event and a success anyway." AND SO??? "The 'old' audience, that over thirty crowd... who, in simple terms, only asks the rocker from Zocca to be a good caricature of himself." THE PROBLEM IS THAT YOU'RE FINE WITH IT LIKE THIS. It's like: yes, it's true, he’s worth nothing but I’ll buy the CD and even pay for the concert ticket, so he can throw me monkey antics and childlike looks (see cover), and that keeps me entertained (because the important thing is to have fun, to be superficial, right?). "And Vasco is now nothing but an industry." "However, singer-songwriter music, except for sporadic and increasingly rare flashes, resides elsewhere." AND SO AT LEAST YOU SET A GOOD EXAMPLE AND DITCH HIM, DAMMIT!! "But in the end, who still cares about singer-songwriter music...?" ;-))) IT MATTERS A LITTLE TO ALL THE LOVERS OF GOOD MUSIC!!! I'm sorry, thumbs down.

Thank you very much for the postcard!! I will let you know... Undoubtedly, the later pieces are more elaborate, but in the older ones, there is a kind of absolute and fresh melodic purity, free from any conditioning, where elemental quality is a strength. "'Sto Core Mio" is definitely my favorite! It sounds like a madrigal (and it's incredibly difficult to sing, try it and see!). Anyway, in dozens of songs, at least half are masterpieces... I have two double CDs plus a triple CD (red, green, and blue if I'm not mistaken), totaling 7... the other five are unaccounted for! Where do they come from?
