Andy Summers & John Etheridge Invisible Threads

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I know those three well enough to express an opinion. I reiterate that among the various Development Theories, Piaget's is undoubtedly the most modern and insightful, in my opinion. At this point, I wonder if you've read Piaget! ;-) Bye
Andy Summers & John Etheridge Invisible Threads

Great review, Doc! Summers, when he plays the jazz musician, always comes up with interesting stuff. I remember a "Green Chimneys" entirely dedicated to Monk that was quite good! I don't think I'll be looking for this one, at least for now, because I’m going through a nice Rock phase. Freud and Jung were amateurs; Piaget was way ahead ;-)
John Coltrane Ascension

Damn, it hurts a blowjob at Ascension... it practically grinds you down! Watch out for the "dissonances".
Akira Kurosawa Ran

Amazing review for a great masterpiece. "Kagemusha" is also among Kurosawa's best for me. Cinema is image and technique. And it is the good use of technique (which certainly does not just mean the quality of the images, of course) that makes a film emotional and rich in extraverbal content.

I was actually thinking about Chaplin and "City Lights" while I was writing, Poletti beat me to it!!

An unbearable and useless character. And the serious thing is that it doesn't even make you laugh! What’s funny about a deformed and dumbstruck face? I might be demanding, but if there are no (more or less) veiled subtleties, subtle irony, biting sarcasm, a abrasive and irreverent critique of an (absurd, deviant, inhuman) value system, or if there are no references to human weakness and fragility in comedy, I can't laugh. Blessed are you who settle for grimaces and Celentano to find satisfaction!!
Geri Allen Some Aspects Of Water

A pearl of a review! Geri is among the next artists I will delve into; I've been meaning to do this for a while... I get drool just thinking about the trio album with Carter and Williams!! I Grandi Draghi is a registered trademark of Contempla S.P.A., and, alas, it does not include Peterson, an excellent pianist and mainstream stylist, but not endowed with the amount of genius necessary for inclusion in the (very short) list ;-)
Pharoah Sanders Karma

Sorry for the delay. Everything is very nice. They called him "Pharoah" as a twist on Farrell, his name.

I don't own this, but to reciprocate, I advise (actually, I order you!) to grab "Touchin' On Trane" by Charles Gayle, from '91, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FREE JAZZ ALBUM I'VE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE!! I even reviewed it back then...a trio that is a nuclear explosion!
