Those are the "Jazz Originals" or "Standard Jazz," at least this is the official jargon of jazz musicians. When we talk about "Standard" alone, we refer to the songs of songwriters, not to a piece, even if it’s by Monk or Coltrane, that has become "famous" or "well-played"! Are Giant Steps or Countdown perhaps standards?
