It's one of those albums that if you buy it along with others, you'll end up listening to this one at least for the first week (did you get what I said?)...same effect that Nick Drake had on me!

Great analysis! I really like when you write: "in the vast sound space generated by the three, the quality of the pieces, every subtle nuance of the timbre of the alto clarinet, the measured and evocative percussive and electronic stimuli, the lyrical precision of the piano, some splendid phrases, have the opportunity to 'resonate' at every moment, shining like isolated and brilliant single pearls, even after repeated listens." You seem to be referring to what I call "musical cells." If one manages to grasp them, it is also due to the high recording quality that ECM records guarantee. For example, "Easy Living" by Enrico Rava with Stefano Bollani on piano is a beautiful album made of cells; there are single details that contribute second by second to the construction of the overall result. Far from stale stuff (remember our three-way talks with happy?)

That's exactly right! "In Japan" from '71 is also really great, featuring a live performance with a Japanese rhythm section that just blows you away. I like your idea of reviewing the soundtrack of Cowboy Bebop!

Very nice record! I completely agree with your choice of tracks. The others do indeed take a bit of the edge off... anyway, you can just skip them ;) This way, it's a four.

Beautiful Fabrì, but come back under another nickname as a parasite of this little Italy!

By the way, why did you highlight "jazz-fusion" and "progressive" among the boxes of musical genres? A joke?

Wow! I have several magnificent things by Bach, but unfortunately, I don't know this one...five on trust! It's been a while since there were reviews of "classical," we needed that! You're making me want to write one too...

Poor Happypippo in second place! At least when he was emotionally stable, he said really smart things, even funny ones, and he truly understood music and cinema! Better to have 30 annoying and unpredictable guys for half the time, but sharp and with good taste for the other half, rather than one guy who might be nice-nice in his place, but lacking in taste and sensitivity for art! And this is said by someone who was literally attacked by Happy... once you understand the type, you learn to take him the right way and you don't care if he occasionally becomes hydrophobic!

But how, Antonio Luca only 42nd in the list of human cases? Him who reviews Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez with true devotion? Furthermore, saying that it’s Pop with a capital P...(of course, he doesn’t listen to crap pop! ;). But at this point, what would be pop with a lowercase p? Don’t say Gigi D'Alessio and Laura Pausini because okay, they are worse, but those four are still junk! If you like quality pop maybe listen to Sting, Elisa, Ben Harper!...I don’t know, you might be justified if you were 12 years old and a girl, anyway I wish you could recover a bit of your unexpressed genetic potential.
