One of those movies that leaves you satisfied in your senses after watching it. A truly beautiful atmosphere, crafted with an uncommon aesthetic, with great attention to detail. The moment of Sayuri dancing in front of the audience is very artistic, with wonderful costumes, lights, colors, white skin, and red petals, evocative music, and harmonious movements. And a face of unique delicacy. In this case, the plot is absolutely secondary; let's stop with the idea that the plot is essential in every film! It’s not even essential in certain books (which obviously exist solely on the verbal level), let alone in films, which exist on both the visual and auditory levels. We must learn to understand that the approach to any informational and artistic substrate (music, cinema, literature, painting, sculpture, architecture, dance, etc.) must be as free as possible from preconceived notions in order to fully appreciate the substrate itself. To make a comparison, if we say that a film without a clearly defined plot has a handicap, then a piece of music without a catchy melody would have a problem. So what would become of Debussy's preludes, for example, or impressionist paintings? Or most improvised music? In short, a film doesn't necessarily have to be a "story"; it can be images, sounds, emotions. Clearly, it CAN also narrate events, happenings, and intertwine them in various ways, but that shouldn’t be a qualitative discriminator!

No one mentioned the fourth track, "Leaving," beautiful and poignant almost like the opening track. Moreover, the title translated into Italian means "to take farewell." Unfortunately, it will be a definitive farewell.

Blackdog, Kidman has a dry ass!! These are the real asses...the most beautiful in the world: www.elitegirl.com.br (go to Salvador). A film full of charm, beautiful soundtrack, stunning photography. There’s no doubt, however, that some of the more subtle nuances are more due to the acute and imaginative viewer rather than the film itself. Perhaps certain convoluted and philosophical "interpretations" weren't even considered by Kubrick! Good review, even though I'm not entirely convinced that the essence of the film is: "the important thing is to get laid!"

Then I would like it to be understood that in my early posts (but also in others), my "tone of voice" was perfectly calm, not aggressive. I was simply bringing attention to a series of mistakes, that’s all. There was no animosity, and the little numbers were used to be schematic, not to be pedantic. And "reviews written by anyone who wants" does not mean that one cannot be criticized; on the contrary... reviews are commented on and critiqued by anyone who wishes, and that's a good thing, as long as respect is maintained towards the writer. I don't believe I disrespected Uxo; I'm afraid he took offense because it often happened lately that I noticed something "off" in his reviews. But I repeat, Uxo: I’m not upset with you at all!!

But come on! Zanna took it differently... I didn’t want to hurt your feelings or demoralize you. I’m sorry, I certainly don’t want my criticisms to make you stop talking about the music you love (that we love). And many people appreciate you! However, since you mentioned happypippo (now a friend of mine), perhaps this example might be helpful: I don’t know if you remember the way he used to throw shit at me... at first, he seemed like a rude, annoying jerk, but little by little I realized he was actually a knowledgeable person, and I tried to understand his point of view and, while still holding on to my opinions, I also learned from him (and he from me, perhaps). I had reached a point where I ā€œknewā€ (I had the impression) that in the next review I published he would still give me a hard time (in advance), but I didn't care one bit! My problem with him was more serious than ours... we have issues of a formal nature (me disagreeing with some data or "historical reconstructions" you provided), while he and I had also personal issues. In short, I was (we were) getting on his nerves, you’re not getting on my nerves! Maybe I’m exaggerating with the nitpicking, but you shouldn’t be so sensitive or play the sacrificial lamb… anyway, I’m sorry if I upset you, I’ll be more tolerant in the future. Peace, brother.

And if your intention is not to illustrate but merely to share, then stop awkwardly trying to illustrate and instead talk about your impressions, emotions, and feelings regarding the album. Otherwise, don’t complain if someone corrects the inaccuracies. And don’t tell me I’m acting superior; I’m just confident in what I say, not arrogant.
