Bonny 91 isn’t entirely wrong... Paloz, it’s not true that every respectable film has a soundtrack! There are a series of masterpieces by Bergman, for example, that are devoid (or almost) of musical commentary, and they are so perfect that adding music to the scenes could even ruin their essence...

Makes your little darling for the evening happier to sink into the couch, deserves a 3. Some nice songs.
David Cronenberg Spider

Poor metalhead, calling him desperate is really uncalled for! Anyway, you’ve shown yourself to be completely devoid of arguments, running away like that to avoid the simple question from post 80. Save a bit of dignity and admit, come on, that you clearly made a ridiculous statement in post 68. Peaceful regards.

My favorite in sophomore year!! Much more communicative than Vai, who wanted to be a more technical Zappa but never succeeded. Honey, are you even satrianina??

7note, what do you mean by slow? What parameter would speed be in a movie? I recommend Van Damme's films!

Let’s not forget that the role of the father was the most difficult to interpret, perhaps even more so than that of Spider... perhaps Mauro reproaches him for a certain coldness or "expressionlessness," but that’s exactly what Cronenberg wanted! Because Spider saw his father as a violent, extremely severe, and cold individual, who was also a traitor to his mother, a whore-monger, a drunkard, and perpetually in a bad mood. But the truth was different; in order not to mislead the audience too much from the "truth," the acting needed to be toned down in representing those aspects, a little muted, as neutral as possible! A Jack Nicholson-style performance wouldn’t have worked at all, in my opinion. It must be said that upon re-watching the film a second time (in light of the "truth"), Gabriel Byrne’s performance is much more appreciated.
Carlo Verdone Borotalco

Eleonora Giorgi is a terrible actress in my opinion; that said, Borotalco is a good film, one of Verdone's best. I prefer Compagni di Scuola, Al Lupo Al Lupo, and Bianco Rosso e Verdone, followed by Un Sacco Bello and Troppo Forte. Very good review.

Oh dear, Mashed Potatoes... If by "jazz in a tuxedo" you mean mainstream jazz, polite and clean-cut, "presentable," not exploratory, etc., well, know that none of the musicians you mentioned belong to that category!! Least of all Coltrane... with a lot of effort I could maybe squeeze Adderley in there, who nonetheless played a soulful, rich, beautiful, dirty, and smoky jazz. If you say jazz in a tuxedo, you have to talk about John Lewis and his Modern Jazz Quartet, for example. And I can't think of any others...
