However... Uxo reaches 134 reviews and knocks Grasshopper out of third place on the podium, with its 133. Now the remaining contenders to beat are mementomori (144) and Tepes (151). As Gianni Morandi said: "DDàI CHE CE LA FFàI!!".

Great flowing review! Am I wrong or did it partially disappoint you for some reason? If so, which one? I'm really excited about this record, I have to tell you! As a drummer, it makes me want to feel like Antonio Sanchez in a trio context. And I love trios in general. Staying in the guitar-bass-drums trio, I recommend the excellent "En Route" by John Scofield, featuring Steve Swallow on electric bass (a very unique sound) and the great Bill Stewart, whom you already know!
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Requiem

An unworthy, pompous, verbose, and useless piece of writing for a sublime work. Already reviewed in an "emotional" key by the unbeatable JohnOfPatmos, was it really necessary to emulate? Moreover, all the nonsense about Salieri that you write comes straight from the film Amadeus, the most inaccurate and approximate biopic I have ever seen, truly too romanticized. Let it be known, Mozart and Salieri were not at all in such close relations; they barely knew each other. The Requiem is by Mozart up to the Lacrimosa, after which nothing precise is known (it's said that one of his students finished it, attempting to imitate his "style"). Anyway, Salieri did NOT finish it (who, by the way, is a musician worthy of respect, not that total mediocrity you imply). What a shame.

Marpado and Stoney, I'm with you, and I quote my posts on the review of the live performance by Rossi di Primiballi.
Gustav Mahler Sinfonia n.2 "Resurrezione"

Not a review, an essay! A marvelous work, among the best ever by Mahler. The version by Otto Klemperer that I know is so beautiful that I would be surprised to hear one that "surpasses" it.

The cattle also boasts of appreciating Neil Young, but it dishonors everything it appreciates then... Gene Gnocchi constantly tore him apart with his imitation, which wasn't that great but managed to ridicule him, and so I enjoyed it.

Amazing review!! I know it’s a classic, I’ve been meaning to watch it for years but I’ve been avoiding it out of fear of a crushing disappointment, like the one I had with "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner." Now I’m not avoiding it anymore!! Moon River is a great piece of music of which I know two jazz versions, a really terrible one by Art Blakey (a bonus track from "Buhaina's Delight" from '61), and a very nice one by Brad Mehldau (from "The Art of The Trio Vol.2").
